Unity in 3D

Besides using a 120Hz projector or the drivers from iz3d.com, I recently searched for other options to turn my Unity projects and experiments into stereoscopic applications.
The following links came to my attention:

  1. http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/63874-stereo-3D-in-Unity-3D?highlight=anaglyph
  2. http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/61759-3D-Anaglyph-System-for-Unity-iPhone-Basic-Pro-and-Unity-Free?highlight=anaglyph
Both are anaglyph systems and even with high_quality anaglyph glasses, the colors in your scenes will suffer. However, I found it to be a cheap and effective way to provide the additional depth cues to my participants. The second link comes at a price of €15, the first link is for free. I have yet to try link #2. Any feedback is appreciated.

Looking for anaglyph glasses?
  1. http://www.amazon.de/Professionelle-3D-Brille-Anaglyphenbrille-Pilot/dp/B003HC6IRW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1288533575&sr=8-2
  2. http://www.amazon.de/Professionelle-3D-Brille-Anaglyphenbrille-Captain/dp/B003ESNHDM/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1288533575&sr=8-7
I found those glasses to be of high quality and beyond my expectations.
While the "Pilot Style" seems to be a popular style (link #1), the "Captain Style" glasses (link #2) are more suitable to wear on top of normal glasses. I went for #2 as my patients wear glasses quite often.
I am not sure whether those glasses are the same models on amazon.com. See for yourself: Pilot Style Captain Style
